Accommodations inside Lake Nakuru National Park include the following;

The Bandas; KWS Isikon banda, Makalia Falls, KWS Guest House, WCK Education Centre, KWS Education Centre bandas. These offers basic accommodation and one has to be fully sufficient with foods and bending.

Special Campsites; Naishi, Rhino, Chui, Reedbuck, Nyuki, Soysambu and Nyati. These are camping ground and one needs to have a tent and food. Another option would be for one to have meals in the nearby lodges.

Public campsite; Makalia and Backpackers.

NAISHI GUEST HOUSE; its set amongst acacia trees with magnificent views across the Park; it is a self catering accommodation comprising of the main house and a separate annex. The main house has two triple bedrooms (each with one double bed and one singe bed). The Annex has two single bedrooms (each with one single bed). The entire cutlery set are provided and bedding. One therefore needs to be self sufficient with food.

LAKE NAKURU LODGE; its situated in the southeast ecological niche of Lake Nakuru National Park. The lodge is an oasis of comfort and excellent service, with commanding views of the lesser flamingo dotted with the greater flamingo for which makes Lake Nakuru National Park famous. It is another world for the visitor, where one easily forgets the hustle and bustle of the city because this lodge blends well with its surrounding and animals often browse peacefully close to the lodge environs that fascinate the visitors most. There are accommodations for 180 people, either in family rooms, deluxe cottages, or suites. The service is unmatched anywhere in Kenya, a country renowned for hospitality. SAROVA LION HILL GAME LODGE; is situated on a plateau of the Rift Valley overlooking the spectacular lake Nakuru carpeted with pink flamingos. The lodge is cleverly laid out in such that most rooms and sitting areas afford stunning views of the National Park. The lodge incorporates natural landscaping with tall acacia trees, winding walkways and greens dotted with bird feeds. It is also a natural haven for bird-life and attracts over 50 species of birds amongst the 400 species that inhabit the Park. The Lodge is a favorite for both resident and nonresident visitors to the park. The Lodge includes 64 Standard rooms (7 pairs of interconnecting rooms) and 3 Suites, a Main Restaurant, Bar and al fresco or private dining for the Suites. The swimming pool adjoins a wellness tent. There is an activity room well stocked with indoor games and other recreation facilities for children, a well-equipped meeting room and a Sarova Shop for gifts and souvenirs. The entire Lodge is surrounded by a 24 hour electric fence.

FLAMINGO HILL TENTED CAMP; the camp is built between the “honeymoon hills”, and set in beautifully landscaped grounds with natural foliage and a variety of indigenous African plants and flowers. The Camp is eco- friendly providing superb tented accommodation; part of the money earned from the camp is used for environmental restoration and for the protection of the endangered species.

It’s small and exclusive, comprising 25 tents. The tents are furnished with the understated luxury required by the modern traveler. Decorated in calming safari tones, natural woods, wrought iron and crisp cottons each tent has been meticulously planned to maximize comfort.

The camp has a private lounge for entertaining: Should you wish to have a private function; the lounge or dining area can be provided to suit your requirements. ACCOMMODATION NEAR LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK;

SUNBIRD LODGE; the lodge name is derived from one of the more than 450 species of birds in this area. It’s an eco friendly luxury lodge located in the Great Rift Valley on the shore of Lake Elementaita, overlooking the vast surrounding plains. MBWEHA CAMP; it’s situated in Congreve Conservancy in the southern border of Lake Nakuru National Park. The ten cottages are built of lava stones and thatched makuti roof that add glamour and style to its contemporary African ambiance.

Every cottage is surrounded by Candelabra Euphorbia, yellow barked Acacia and other indigenous trees that provide a relaxed atmosphere as you listen to the African night sounds of a lion roar or the laughter of the hyena in the distance. The camps sunken bar and spacious lounge have an open fireplace, a pool table, dashboard, and looks out at eye level onto a small water hole. The bush restaurant serves a choice of freshly prepared meals in a separate thatched dining room. While at the camp you will have clear views of the Eburu and Mau Ranges.
