Nairobi National Park
It is the only National park within the city in the world, 117 km2 located 10km southwest of Nairobi city. It is 3 in one, one stop shop point while you are in Nairobi. It is in the area which has dry season concentration but remains a grazing land for Masai and Somali heard men until the treat of the Second World War.
It became the training ground for the king before it was declared a national park the 1st one in East Africa. It has 3 vegetation Zone. Forest at the western end of the park, Riverine vegetation to the south and Plain, scattered bushes.

Athi-River, Manmade Dams, over 100 spices of Mammals and 400 species of Birds, the big five except the Elephant
Animal Orphanage
It was founded by wild wide fund of nature, in 1969 to rehabilitate and orphaned and wounded animals in the wild.
